This game is an ideal candidate for VASSAL:

  • Only one small map, in portrait orientation.
  • All text is oriented for reading from the "bottom of the map" perspective.
  • Standard unit symbols allow for use of the Game-Piece Images component of VASSAL.
  • No stacking; no game-piece layers.
  • Well-balanced scenario.

In this module, I have deleted hex numbering, which is not necessary in VASSAL and removes map clutter. The Mouse-over component provides hex location and piecename.

I've also rearranged the terrain key and tables to save a little screen space.

Game-Turn 1 effects have been added to the turn track, as have Night turn effects.

Units in the lower right corner of the map are for use with the variant rules from Moves 60.
